DIME

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective May 10, 2025

Dime is a basketball scorekeeping app. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

Dime stores game data — team names, scores, and the timestamp of each scoring event — locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Your app preferences are also stored locally. None of this data is uploaded to any server or shared with third parties, except as described in the AI Game Recap section below.

PHOTO LIBRARY ACCESS

Dime requests read access to your photo library so you can pick an image to use as a team logo. It requests write access to save share cards to your camera roll. No photos are ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone.

AI GAME RECAP

When you choose to generate a game recap, Dime sends a summary of that game — team names and the timestamped score events — to Anthropic's API to produce a natural-language summary. No personal information is included in this request. This data is handled according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

Dime has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your device identifiers, location, and contacts are never accessed.
